Le Marinier Celtic Salt is raked by hand from the marshes on the Brittany coast, using a method the paludiers there have worked for more than a thousand years. Sun and wind evaporate the seawater, the salt crystallizes, and nothing is added or taken out.
This is the fine grind — the grey coarse salt milled down to an all-purpose texture that measures and dissolves easily. It carries magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron from the marsh, and a rounder, less sharp salinity than table salt. Slightly moist to the touch, which is normal for an unrefined salt.
- Fine ground Celtic sea salt in an 8 oz refillable shaker
- Hand-harvested in the Brittany ocean marshes, France
- 100% natural and unrefined — no additives, no chemicals
- Naturally occurring magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron
- Milled from Le Marinier grey coarse salt for an all-purpose grind
- A more nuanced salinity than standard table salt
